Led by Prof. Chaim Baskin, the INSIGHT Lab at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, pioneers research in advanced AI designed for real-world applicability. The research in our lab leverages domain-specific priors—such as geometric principles like symmetry, invariance, topology, and manifold structures—as well as insights from information theory, image processing, and signal processing to create effective and efficient models dealing with various learning tasks. Our goal is to create models that excel under constraints, whether limited by data, computational resources, or noisy environments, enabling adaptable, efficient, and impactful AI solutions across a spectrum of domains.

I am an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
My research focuses on representation learning, efficient deployment of neural networks, multi-modality, and graph and geometric deep learning applied to various domains such as computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), autonomous vehicles, medical imaging, biology, and more. We publish our work in top venues such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, ICML, JMLR, TMLR, IROS, and others.
My lab collaborates on these topics with leading local and global research experts. Additionally, I frequently serve as an Area Chair, Associate Editor, Program Committee Member, and Reviewer for leading conferences and journals in the field.
Our lab focuses on several key areas:
Through these initiatives, we engage in global collaborations to bring innovative AI solutions to applications in computer vision, natural language processing, autonomous systems, and the medical and biological sciences, ultimately addressing complex, real-world challenges.
